As a patient when considering treatment, it is always important to have a quality consultation prior to having any aesthetic procedures, to understand the benefits, risks and treatment outcomes.
For us at Face Aesthetics, we also have serval reasons why a treatment consultation prior to procedures is important, however, our main reason above all is patient safety.
During your consultation with the practitioner, we want to know your treatment expectations, provide you with information and understanding of how the results you would like to achieve, provide you with the required knowledge to how the practitioner will successfully perform the treatment, and also give you an opportunity to look at before and after images of treatments.
An example of what maybe discussed during your consultation is your medical history, this will be discussed so that the practitioner can ensure that you opt for the most suitable treatment and not one that may put you in harm’s way from a medical perspective. Discussing medical history also allows the practitioner to tailor the aftercare advice aswell as pre and post treatment advice that is best suited to your individual needs.
At Face Aesthetics, when having any aesthetic treatment, no matter how big or small the procedure may be, we find It vital that this process is not skipped prior to the treatment day without having an in-depth discussion about all the above plus a thorough discussion of exactly what you want to achieve from the treatment.
